For
those who may not recall "Tiger" Cicero from Our Lady of the Angles Parish, and
for those of us who knew him in high school, we all pay honor to his
memory..."All Gave Some, Some Gave All" ... When I visited the Vietnam Wall I
looked at his etched name and his fallen date ... The years seemed so few from
back in our day to now that we are old men...For him, time stood still and his
youthful face in our Knight yearbook will remain forever young... We remember
and will never forget.
Please
pass this email onto other classmates, requesting a moment of prayer and
remembrance for our Fallen Classmate.
Footnote:
July, 1967, I was aboard USS RANGER (CVA 61) conducting air strikes against the
North Vietcong, since I was in the area of operations, I may have been the
closest to Fedele on the date of his death, my only wish now is that I could
have been closer to him during our high school days, but I do remember him
walking the marble floors in the halls of the East Building at St. Mel
HS....please share a remembered story with our Classmates.
