MOUNT PROSPECT - Michael A. Carosielli, of Mt. Prospect since 1971, passed away Dec. 19, 2013, after a short illness. Michael was born January 24, 1937, in Chicago. He was a graduate of St. Mel's and played on their 1954 City Catholic Championship Basketball team. He received his Bachelor's of Science at St. Mary's College in Moraga, California. He retired as Director of Management Services for United Airlines. Michael was a former Mount Prospect Park District Commissioner and an avid golfer. He was a member of Elks Lodge and Loyal Order of the Moose in Florida. Beloved husband of Constance "Connie" Carosielli (nee Thompson). Loving father of Michael S. Carosielli and Kristen (Jason) Rossi. Cherished grandfather of Jordan and Peyton Rossi. Devoted son of the late Amalia and the late Michael Carosielli. Dear brother of Joan (the late Thomas) Remkus.
